Newly Diagnosed Survivor Gift Basket
A diagnosis of breast cancer can be overwhelming to an individual and to their loved ones. The shock of diagnosis and the volumes of new and critical information that needs to be understood can be overwhelming.
The San Antonio Affiliate offers a free gift basket filled with a variety of breast cancer information, resources motivational books and comfort items. The gift basket is delivered to a woman's home by either a breast survivor who may also serve as a mentor or by a Komen volunteer.

Bilingual Komen Mentors Available
The Komen Mentor Program provides an opportunity for the newly diagnosed patient to speak with an English or Spanish-speaking survivor that has experienced the same feelings that range from fear, anger, frustration and vulnerability.
