Campus for a Cure is a program of the Komen San Antonio Affiliate designed to promote breast cancer awareness among high school and college students by partnering with local campuses. Any high school, college or university in Bexar County is eligible to participate in Campus for a Cure.  The program is not limited to only students - teachers, professors and staff can also participate.  The affiliate will work with faculty, staff and student leaders to host seminars and wellness programs to educate  
students on breast cancer and early detection in
    Trinity Univeristy Health Fair, October 2007           young women and men.   

Campus for the Cure also focuses on Race for the Cure - the largest footrace in Bexar County and Komen San Antonio's greatest fundraising activity. High schools are encouraged to compete against other high schools while colleges/universities are encouraged to compete against other colleges/universities to determine which campus can raise the largest team, raise the most funds, wear the most creative t-shirts on Race day etc. The Komen San Antonio Affiliate offers student discounts and easy on-campus Race for the Cure registration to allow students to participate in this worthy event on minimal budgets.
